The team directed by Serge Garderes and Sandrine Rabaud will compose of 18 skaters. The French team is one of the favorites to win the World Championhips this year.

This year, France has demonstrated a substantial growth in the different competitions disputed in the European continent with shining performances of Alexis Contin, Nathalie Barbotin and Fabien Hascouet.

Senior Men: Alexis Contin, Pascal Briand, Arnaud Gicquel, Baptiste Grandgirard and Thomas Boucher will contest the medals mainly with New Zealand, Italy, United States and Colombia.

Senior Ladies: Nathalie Barbotin, Laeticia Le Bihan, Estelle Flourens and Angele Vaudan.

Junior Men: Fabien Hascouet, Pierre Gallot, Nicolas Pelloquin, Robien Duez and Edwin Peyressatre.
