Friday 20th August
New countries announce their national teams for the World Championships.

With less than a month from World Championships in L´Aquila, various countries continue working to finalise the skaters who will represent them.

In the latest hours, new federations have communicated their teams: Portugal, Equator and South Korea.

Portugal finally will be present in Italy, after its absence in the past championship disputed in Venezuela and it will be represented by four skaters: Marcelo Macedo (senior men), Celia Goncalves (senior ladies), Carlos Santos (junior men) and David Pedro (junior men).

Equador will be present again with Pan American medallist Gustavo Naula in senior men category.

At this moment, South Korea defined its senior team and we are waiting for the confirmation of the junior skaters.

Senior Men: Kang Seung-gu, Lee Sang-bok and Nam Yu-jong

Senior Ladies: Kim Hyo-jin, Im Ju-hee, Kim Hae-mee and the superstar Kuck Chae-yi.
