It was Chile’s first time hosting the World Championships. Their national team prepared very well for the races.

The C.A.R Complex, located in the Comuna of Ñuñoa, was officially opened during Worlds.

In this championship, local Chilean Jose Guzman won the first gold medal and overall, there was excellent participation from the Chilean team.
