After a great result was obtained in the Junior European Championships in Martinsicuro, Italy was forced to make a trial event to select the best skaters to go to Anyang. The junior ladies team is made up of Roberta Casu, Alice Gaetani, Antonella Presti –Luca and Massimiliano´s sister-, Giorgia Saettone, Martina Taruscia and Ylenia Zanotti.

The junior men’s team promises to be extremely strong and their members are stars like Mirko Nenzi, Andrea Peruzzo and Danny Sargoni, that will be accompanied by Davide Amabili, Andrea Atzeni, Marco Regabliati and Vittorio Renzi.

In the senior category, after average results in recent years, Italy will look to regain the title of the worlds best team. The mens team will be made up of Luca Presti, Gregorio Duggento, Patrizio Triberio, Francesco Zangarini, Pierdavide Romani, Matteo Amabili and Fabio Francolin; Massimiliano Presti will just compete in the marathon.

The ladies team will be also strong with Laura Lardani, Simona di Eugenio, Cinzia Ponzetti, Maria Laura Orru, Erika Zanetti, Nicoletta Falcone and Giovanna Turchiarelli.

The team will departure from Italy on coming 25th of August while all the team members will meet in Frankfurt to fly trough Lufthansa (LH 0712 at 17.55 hs) to Seoul.
