Santiago of Cali, located in the attractive Cauca´s River Valley offers to the tourist a large number of activities to do close to the downtown area.

Immersed within the Andes Mountains, Cali surprises the tourist from their arrival to be the capital of the ¨salsa¨ since this style of music can be able to be listened every time and in all places in the city. It is also possible do shopping in the many large commercial centres.

145 km away from Cali is Buenaventura, which is the most important seaport in Colombia. Situated on the Pacific Ocean it was founded on July 14th, 1540 and actually has 70% of all exports from Colombia concentrated there. From Buenaventura is possible to visit many beautiful beaches like Juanchaco and Ladrilleros. On the road to Buenaventura is also nice to stop at the Calima Lake.
Near to the city we can advise you to go to the Los Farallones Natural National Park because is one of the zones of most bio diverse on the planet, located in the Western Andes Mountains.

The historical places are also a wonderfull option to visit in Cali like the La Marced Colonial Church where the first catholic mass was celebrated in 1536. Also you can visit the San Francisco Complex (built in XVII & XIX centuries), Government Palace and Otero Building.

Other excursions that are possible to do from Cali, in Cali are to the Statue of Sebastián Belalcazar, Tres Cruces Hill, Colonia de San Antonio (historical town), Los Cristales Hill, Modern Art Museum, Colonial Art Museum, Rayo Museum, Retrata Park, Artesanal Loma de la Cruz Park and the Zoo.
